Apple has committed to expanding its renewable energy footprint in Europe by signing contracts for 650 megawatts of wind and solar power projects, many of which are already operational or nearing completion. These projects span several countries, including significant solar farms in Greece, Latvia, Spain, and Poland, as well as wind farms in Romania and Italy. This renewable energy will help offset a substantial portion of Apple’s carbon footprint, particularly emissions related to manufacturing and production, which account for nearly one-third of the company’s total emissions.
