Amazon Web Services (AWS) closed 2025 with its strongest quarterly growth in over three years, reporting a 24% year-over-year revenue increase in Q4, the highest growth rate in 13 quarters. AWS’s annual revenue run rate reached $142 billion, with operating income rising from $10.6 billion in Q4 2024 to $12.5 billion in Q4 2025. CEO Andy Jassy emphasized the significance of achieving this growth on such a large revenue base, highlighting AWS’s expanding market leadership fueled by new contracts with major clients like Salesforce, BlackRock, Perplexity, and the U.S. Air Force.
