Battle-proven autonomy tech to bolster aerial unmanned systems’ power for attack missions

Shield AI and Destinus are partnering to integrate Shield AI’s battle-proven Hivemind autonomy software into Destinus’ unmanned aerial systems (UAS), specifically the Ruta and Hornet platforms. This integration aims to create a unified, scalable autonomy framework that enables diverse aerial systems to operate collaboratively in real time, enhancing coordination, survivability, and mission success in combat scenarios. Joint flight demonstrations are planned for 2026 to validate operational interoperability between the companies’ systems.
