CATL launches 5th-gen LFP batteries with higher density, longer life

CATL has commenced mass production of its fifth-generation lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries, marking a significant advancement in energy density and cycle life compared to earlier versions. These new LFP cells build on the improvements of the fourth generation, which already surpassed many mainstream batteries in terms of longevity, power output, and cost efficiency.
