Chinese robotics company AGIBOT has reached a significant milestone by producing its 10,000th humanoid robot, marking a pivotal moment in the transition of embodied artificial intelligence from experimental phases to large-scale commercial deployment. The company highlighted that this achievement reflects not just volume but a fundamental shift in manufacturing capability and market adoption. AGIBOT’s Chief Technology Officer, Peng Zhihui, emphasized that improvements in supply chain management and production standardization have enabled a rapid scale-up, moving from producing 1,000 units in two years to 10,000 units in just over two years, with the most recent 5,000 units completed in only three months.
