Chinese autonomous vehicle company Pony.ai announced plans to triple its global robotaxi fleet by the end of 2026, aiming to grow from its current 961 vehicles to over 3,000. The company targets reaching a 1,000-robotaxi fleet by the end of this year and is expanding commercial robotaxi services in major Chinese cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen. Pony.ai is also pursuing international growth, entering markets in eight countries such as Qatar and Singapore through partnerships with local firms and ride-hailing companies like Bolt and Uber.
