Emm raises $9M seed to create one of the world’s first ‘smart’ menstrual cups

Emm, a UK-based femtech startup, has raised $9 million in a seed funding round led by Lunar Ventures to develop and launch what it claims to be the world’s first smart menstrual cup. Founded by Jenny Button during the COVID-19 lockdown, Emm aims to fill a gap in reproductive health tracking by integrating ultra-thin sensor technology into a medical-grade silicone menstrual cup.
