COSA (Cognitive OS of Agents) integrates three layers—motion control, perception, and cognitive decision-making—to enable robots to perceive surroundings, reason, and act without human supervision. The system is built for embodied agents functioning alongside humans, rather than for simulations, and supports complex interactions such as balance on uneven terrain and task execution based on spoken instructions.
The humanoid robot Oli, standing about 5 feet 5 inches tall with 31 joints, showcases COSA’s capabilities by independently interpreting commands, planning routes, manipulating objects, and adapting actions in real time.
