Shenzhen-based LimX Dynamics has introduced Luna, its newest humanoid robot, marking a shift from the company’s previous industrial-focused designs toward robots intended for lifestyle, commercial, and public interaction settings. Luna debuted at the Taobao Influencer Festival with a live demonstration featuring a catwalk, illusion turn, and spin, showcasing its agility, balance, and fluid human-like movements. The robot boasts 33 degrees of freedom in its joints, enabling complex and natural motion patterns that surpass many current humanoid robots. Built on the same computing architecture as LimX’s earlier industrial model OLI, Luna stands approximately 165 cm tall, weighs around 55 kg with battery, and can walk at speeds up to 5 km/h.
