Mercado Libre to use humanoid robots in Texas warehouse to boost work

Mercado Libre, a leading Latin American commerce and fintech company, has partnered with Agility Robotics to deploy the Digit humanoid robot in its San Antonio, Texas fulfillment center. This collaboration marks a significant step in Mercado Libre’s adoption of advanced automation to handle repetitive and physically demanding tasks that are difficult to staff. The initiative aims to boost productivity, improve workplace ergonomics, and allow employees to focus on higher-value, skilled work.
