Meta has introduced two new Ray-Ban smart glasses specifically designed for prescription wearers, aiming to better accommodate those who require all-day eyewear. These new models, starting at $499, will be available from April 14 at optical retailers in the U.S. and select international markets. The glasses come in two styles: the rectangular Blayzer (offered in Standard and Large sizes) and the rounded Scriber. Both feature customizable elements such as flexible hinges, interchangeable nose pads, and adjustable temple tips to ensure a personalized and comfortable fit. Meta highlights these as the most comfortable glasses it has designed to date. In addition to the new prescription-friendly frames, Meta is expanding its color and lens options for existing Ray-Ban Meta and Oakley Meta glasses, including new Transitions lenses and various frame finishes. The company is also enhancing its smart glasses with AI-powered features: users can now log meals hands-free via voice or photo for nutrition tracking, receive hands-free WhatsApp message summaries and recalls
