NIO achieved a significant milestone by reporting an operational profit in the fourth quarter of 2025, joining Tesla and BYD as one of the few electric vehicle (EV) companies to do so. In Q4 2025, NIO's vehicle sales reached RMB31.6 billion (US$4.52 billion), an 80.9% increase from the same quarter in 2024, with a vehicle margin improving to 18.1%. Total revenues rose 75.9% year-over-year to RMB34.7 billion (US$4.95 billion), and gross profit surged 163.1% to RMB6.07 billion (US$868.6 million).
