The November 2025 update on Australian plug-in vehicle sales reveals a steady market with growing consumer interest, particularly in plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs). Out of 97,037 new vehicles sold in November, 4,768 were PHEVs (4.3%) and 9,081 were battery electric vehicles (BEVs) (9.4%), resulting in a combined plug-in market share approaching 14%. PHEV sales notably surged 83.3% year-on-year for November and 130.6% year-to-date, despite the removal of federal tax incentives.
