The recent 13th Philippine Electric Vehicle Summit (PEVS), held from October 23 to 25, highlighted key industry trends, policy discussions, consumer adoption challenges, and sustainability goals, serving as a critical forum for manufacturers, policymakers, and enthusiasts.
Significant financial commitments have been made across the EV value chain. Notably, Mitsubishi Motors Philippines pledged 7 billion pesos for EV and renewable energy projects, while Ayala Corporation’s EV subsidiary secured $100 million from the Asian Development Bank to expand charging infrastructure and commercial EV deployment.
