The Elecy is a four-wheeled electric-assist pedal vehicle developed by former F1 engineer Tamara Ivancova, designed to blend the compact footprint of a bike with the enclosed body and cargo capacity of a microcar. It features a fully enclosed composite shell for weather protection and aerodynamic efficiency, seating for two with a child passenger option, and 300 liters of cargo space. Classified as an electric-assist pedal cycle in the UK and EU, it provides motor support up to about 16 mph with a removable battery offering a range of up to 50 miles per charge. Its four-wheel design enhances stability and balance, making it safer and more approachable than traditional two-wheeled e-bikes. Ivancova plans to demonstrate the Elecy’s durability and practicality by undertaking a solo journey across 23 countries and over 18,600 miles using the prototype.
