Physical Intelligence, a San Francisco-based robotics startup founded two years ago, is reportedly in early-stage talks to raise approximately $1 billion in new funding, which would value the company at over $11 billion—nearly doubling its $5.6 billion valuation from just four months prior. The potential round is expected to include participation from Founders Fund, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Thrive Capital, and Lux Capital. The company has previously raised over $1 billion and employs around 80 people focused on developing general-purpose AI models to enable robots to perform diverse tasks such as folding laundry and peeling vegetables.
