POSCO to deploy US humanoid robots for logistics work in steel mills

South Korean steelmaker POSCO Group plans to introduce humanoid robots to assist with logistics tasks at its steel mills, marking a significant step in applying physical AI to heavy industries. POSCO DX, the group’s service affiliate, and POSCO Investment signed a memorandum of understanding with US robotics startup Persona AI to develop humanoid robots tailored for steelmaking environments.
