Rolls-Royce's modular hydrogen-ready plants to support clean power

Rolls-Royce has introduced a new range of modular, hydrogen-ready gas engine power plants aimed at enhancing energy security and supporting Germany’s Power Plant Strategy. These turnkey, preconfigured systems can be deployed within 12 to 18 months and provide flexible, decentralized power generation ranging from 5 to several hundred megawatts. Designed to bridge gaps in renewable energy supply caused by fluctuations in wind and solar output, the plants can supply power for hours to weeks, ensuring grid stability until alternative sources like nuclear power come online.
