Ultrahuman has launched its third-generation smart ring, the Ring Pro, featuring a redesigned form factor and significantly improved battery life of up to 15 days, compared to 4-6 days on its previous model, the Ring Air. Priced at $479, the Ring Pro is available for global pre-orders excluding the U.S., with shipments starting in March. This launch comes as Ultrahuman aims to recover its U.S. market presence following a 2025 patent dispute with rival Oura, which resulted in a U.S. International Trade Commission ruling that barred Ultrahuman from importing new ring inventory into the country. To circumvent this, Ultrahuman redesigned the Ring Pro to avoid infringing on Oura’s patent and has submitted it for U.S. Customs clearance. Despite the disruption, Ultrahuman maintains an annualized revenue run rate of about $150 million and remains profitable, though margins are expected to tighten due to litigation, tariffs, and redesign costs.
