HII, a Virginia-based military shipbuilder, has signed a memorandum of understanding with Path Robotics to integrate Path’s physical AI models into shipbuilding operations, specifically targeting welding automation. This partnership aims to augment the welding workforce, automate structural production, and accelerate shipbuilding throughput, supporting the U.S. Navy’s growing demand.
