US firm unveils Gambit 6 military drone for air-to-ground strikes

General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, a California-based aerospace firm, unveiled the Gambit 6 unmanned combat aerial vehicle (UCAV) at the International Fighter Conference in Rome. This new addition to the modular Gambit series is specifically designed for air-to-ground strike missions, incorporating precision strike and electronic warfare capabilities alongside the series’ existing air-to-air and reconnaissance roles.
