The U.S. Navy and the Defense Innovation Unit have selected Anduril to contribute its Dive-XL extra-large autonomous underwater vehicle (XL-AUV) to the Combat Autonomous Maritime Platform Project (CAMP). This initiative aims to rapidly prototype and deploy long-range robotic submarines capable of operating in contested maritime environments, extending naval reach without risking sailors. Anduril’s Dive-XL, which has demonstrated strong endurance and range, will undergo a long-duration demonstration within four months of contract award to test its performance in operationally relevant scenarios. The program supports the Navy’s exploration of XL-AUVs for scalable experimentation and potential fleet-wide deployment. The Dive-XL closely resembles Anduril’s Ghost Shark XL-AUV, currently produced for the Royal Australian Navy, highlighting the company’s ability to accelerate production compared to traditional defense procurement. Anduril manufactures these systems in Sydney and Rhode Island, with facilities capable of producing dozens annually. The program aligns with the U.S. Navy’s “hedge
