This represented 7.16% of total light-duty vehicle (LDV) sales for the month, a notable drop from September 2025 when PEVs captured 13.55% of sales, boosted by the expiration of the U.S. EV tax credit. Despite the October decline, full electric vehicles still accounted for about 6% of all U.S. vehicle sales, indicating a resilient market.
