Read original articleThe B-Human robot soccer team, representing the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI) and the University of Bremen, has added another accolade to its record by winning both the Middle and Large divisions at Germany’s newly formed Humanoid Soccer League. This league emerged from the merger of the RoboCup Standard Platform League and the Humanoid League and features three divisions based on robot size and weight. At the event in Cologne (March 10–14), B-Human competed using the newly introduced Booster K1 humanoid robot, developed by Booster Robotics. The Booster K1 is a compact, 37-inch tall, 43-pound robot with 22 degrees of freedom, powered by NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX processors, and equipped with advanced sensors including a 3D depth camera and a 9-axis inertial measurement unit, enabling agile, human-like movements and autonomous play.
B-Human dominated the Middle Division with a perfect record, winning all seven matches and defeating the HTWK
