VinFast Philippines has introduced a battery subscription program aimed at reducing the upfront cost of electric vehicle (EV) ownership in the price-sensitive Philippine market. By separating battery ownership from the vehicle purchase, VinFast significantly lowers the initial price of its EV models. For example, the entry-level VF 3 drops from ₱745,000 (about US$13,300) with the battery included to ₱590,000 (around US$10,500) without it.
